DESCRIPTION

ENGINEERED TO PERFECTION

The LCD-XC (Music Creator’s Special) is thoroughly engineered and meticulously hand-built using the finest, most luxurious materials combined with cutting-edge planar magnetic technology in California, U.S.A. It features the very same drivers as the LCD-X (Music Creator’s Special), but in a closed-back design. This allows for better noise isolation and minimal sound leakage.

MADE FOR AUDIO PROFESSIONALS

Audeze headphones are trusted by professional engineers and music producers as their new reference. The LCD-XC (Music Creator’s Special’s) best-in-class accuracy & microscopic clarity makes them an irreplaceable tool for those requiring the most transparent audio reproduction available. The wide frequency range from 10Hz to 50kHz allows experts to easily pinpoint each element in a track, making mixing more accurate.

EXTENDED FREQUENCIES & LOWER DISTORTION WITH FAZORS

Fazors are special acoustical elements positioned on either side of the magnetic structure. They enhance transparency by affecting the sound waves generated by large planar diaphragms. A few of the benefits include extended frequency response, improved high-frequency extension and lowered distortion, with better imaging.

AUDEZE’S INNOVATIVE PLANAR MAGNETS

Acoustically engineered for accuracy Audeze?s innovative planar magnetic technology delivers a clear and accurate sound that reveals everything on the recording. The LCD-XC (Music Creator’s Special) has an efficient push-pull magnetic structure that is specially designed and self-closing. This ensures an acoustically transparent music listening experience. The double-sided Neodymium magnet arrays deliver a uniform driving force across the entire diaphragm for a near-zero distortion.

PROPRIETARY LOTUS DIAPHRAGM FOR A SMOOTH SOUND

Audeze’s proprietary Lotus diaphragm has a printed circuit across most of its surface and is capable of handling maximum continuous operating temperatures of over 400? F. This gives the drivers a smooth, resonance-free frequency response, excellent internal damping, edge damping, very low distortion and an extremely fast transient response.

MIX & MASTER ANYWHERE & EVERYWHERE

Not everyone can listen to their headphones in an acoustically treated room. With the Audeze Reveal plugin, you can add custom filter presets to all Audeze flagships. Now, mix and master in virtually any location, be it the studio, your home or even on top of an active volcano.
